ABOUT US

72 Taboot: Honouring the
Martyrs of Karbala in London

The 72 Taboot London Foundation, a registered charity, is dedicated to preserving the legacy of the 72 martyrs of the Battle of Karbala. Through our annual commemoration, we honour the immense sacrifices made by Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), his family, and his loyal companions.

Each year, we organise a powerful spiritual gathering in the heart of London, featuring a majlis (religious gathering) and a juloos (procession). Attendees are given the rare opportunity to perform ziyarat (pilgrimage) of 72 symbolic taboots—coffin replicas that each represent a martyr of Karbala.
